Linux on Desktop PC

Why Linux? Because it is OpenSource, free (as a speech), legal for everyone on every computer.

We recommend to use special educational remix of Ubuntu - called FREE_Desktop. http://cyfrowaszkola.waw.pl/free_desktop-edukacyjny-remiks-dla-wszystkich/

It has all software we need, especially :

• GParted for partitioning
• Arduino IDE 1.5 for Intel Galileo with firmware update option
• GTK Disk Dump utility for Image writing to SD-Card
• Polish localization

Of course you can use any other Linux, any Mac, or even any Windows Machine. But our Wiki is focused on FREE_Desktop.
