A fully-populated Europi installation can chew through quite a range of I2C addresses.

This page records the various selectable device ranges, which is useful for troubleshooting I2C Issues.

The PCF8574 actually comes in two separate flavours:

  • PCF8574 with an i2c base address of 20
  • PCF8574A with an i2c base address of 38
