+This is a short collection of tips, tricks, and advice on public speaking that you can use to learn and also teach others some of the basics of public speaking!

+You need to present content and want some advice that will allow you to deliver your content in a more engaging way.

+## Single idea 💡
+
+Focus on what the single most important idea for your delivery is. No audience can recall several different take aways. Focus on the single idea and tie everything you say back to the single idea.
+
+## Always tell a story 📘
+
+Stories connects you and your audience. Make sure that the stories you tell are focused and tied to the "single idea".
+
+The most important tip on telling stories: Describe the scenario as much as possible, like describing a movie scene.
+
+## Find excitement 🤩
+
+When you present about something that is exciting,  your voice, stance, and energy changes. Similarly, when the topic is boring, your will sound boring. Find the exciting thing about what you are presenting and use that as the energy for your delivery.
+
+## Don't read 🤓
+
+Never ever read. As soon as you read you will sound robotic and will cause the audience to disconnect and lose interest. Reading from slides, cards, or anything else has one of the most negative impacts in your delivery.
+
+## Use the Problem-Solution-Benefit technique 🎯
+
+Try to state the problem, then move onto the solution, and finally emphasize what the benefit is. This technique is also known as "What, So what, Now what". The use of 3 parts, starting with the problem, continuing with the solution and finalizing with a benefit, is a solid way to keep your audience engaged, and allow you to maintain structure and pace.
+
+## Speed, Volume, and movement 🏃🏽
+
+A monotone delivery will bore your audience. It can happen if you are really nervous or if you are reading for example.
+
+Try mixing how fast you're talking with pauses or speeding up and then slowing down.
+
+Similarly,  to volume, try raising your voice for excitement or lowering it for suspense.
+
+Lastly, use body movement to match what you are saying. You can move your arms using gestures to highlight a phrase or even a problem.
+
+## Other tools you can use 🛠
+
+Let's assume you are presenting about the Three Little Pigs story. Here's how you summarize, repeat, and emphasize at different parts of the story:
+
+1. **Summarize**
+Use two or three sentences to recap what just happened. For example: the bad wolf had it easy, afterall it only took a few blows and almost caught the piglet.
+Summarizing allows to keep an audience on track.
+
+1. **Repeat to Connect**
+Find elements that you can repeat so that the story or presentation connects. For example, you mention at the beginning that the wolf was very hungry. Towards the end, you can say "now this wolf is even hungrier".  This helps chain the events in a way that the audience can relate to.
+
+1. **Emphasize the single idea**
+There has to be *one* key takeaway for your audience. Use this key takeaway at every chance you get and emphasize it: "Hard work pays off [...]. The three piglets where all benefitting from the hard work in the strongest house"
+
+
+## Next steps
+
+Now that you have a new set of tools for public speaking, try using _at least one_ of them in your next presentation! Keep adding more of the tips in this presentation and mix them up.

+Always practice in front of someone else, or if you don't have someone to practice as an audience, try recording yourself for a few minutes and then watch the recording to see where you can improve.

+- A evitar las trampas comunes cuando estés frente a una audiencia

+## Idea única 💡
+
+Concéntrate en cuál es la idea más importante para tu presentación. Ningún público es capaz de recordar varias ideas diferentes. Enfócate en esa idea única y conecta todo tu contenido hacia esa misma idea.
+
+## Siempre cuenta una historia 📘
+
+Las historias te conectan a ti y a tu audiencia. Asegúrate de que las historias que cuentes estén enfocadas y vinculadas a la "idea única".
+
+El consejo más importante para contar historias: Describe el escenario tanto como sea posible, como si estuvieras describiendo la escena de una película.
+
+## Encuentra emoción 🤩
+
+Cuando presentas algo que es emocionante, tu voz, postura y energía cambian. Del mismo modo, cuando el tema es aburrido, te sonará aburrido. Encuentra lo emocionante de lo que estás presentando y utilízalo como energía para tu presentación.
+
+## No leas 🤓
+
+¡Nunca leas! Si lees sonarás robótico y harás que la audiencia se desconecte y pierda interés. La lectura de diapositivas, tarjetas o cualquier otra cosa tiene uno de los impactos más negativos en tu presentación.
+
+## Usa la técnica Problema-Solución-Beneficio 🎯
+
+Trata de plantear el problema, luego pasa a la solución y finalmente enfatiza cuál es el beneficio. Esta técnica también se conoce como "¿Qué?, Entonces ..., ¿Ahora qué?". El uso de 3 partes, comenzando con el problema, continuando con la solución y finalizando con un beneficio, es una forma sólida de mantener a tu audiencia interesada y te permite mantener la estructura y el ritmo.
+
+## Velocidad, volumen y movimiento 🏃🏽
+
+Una entrega monótona aburrirá a tu audiencia. Puede suceder si tienes muchos nervios o si estás leyendo, por ejemplo.
+
+Intenta mezclar la rapidez con la que estás hablando con pausas o acelerando y luego disminuyendo la velocidad.
+
+De manera similar al volumen, intenta subir la voz para la emoción o bajarla para el suspenso.
+
+Por último, usa el movimiento del cuerpo para que coincida con lo que estás diciendo. Puedes mover los brazos mediante gestos para resaltar una frase o incluso un problema.
+
+## Otras herramientas que puedes usar 🛠
+
+Supongamos que estás presentando la historia de los Tres cerditos. Esta es la manera de cómo puedes resumir, repetir y enfatizar las diferentes partes de la historia:
+
+1. **Resumir**
+Utiliza dos o tres oraciones para resumir lo que acaba de pasar. Por ejemplo: _"El lobo feroz lo tuvo fácil, después de todo, solo le tomó unos cuantos soplidos y casi atrapa al cerdito."_
+Resumir permite mantener a la audiencia enfocada en la historia.
+
+1. **Repite para conectar**
+Encuentra elementos que puedas repetir para que la historia o presentación se conecte. Por ejemplo, al principio puedes mencionar que el lobo tenía mucha hambre. En el final de la historia, puedes decir _"ahora este lobo tiene aún más hambre"_. Esto ayuda a conectar los eventos de manera que la audiencia pueda identificarse.
+
+
+1. **Enfatiza la idea única**
+Tiene que haber *una* conclusión clave para tu audiencia. Utiliza esta conclusión clave en cada oportunidad que tengas y enfatícela: "El trabajo duro tiene su recompensa [...]. Los tres cerditos se beneficiaron del trabajo duro que realizaron en la casa más sólida".
+
+
+## Próximos pasos
+
+Ahora que tienes un nuevo conjunto de herramientas para hablar en público, intenta usar _al menos_ una de ellas en tu próxima presentación. Sigue agregando más consejos en esta presentación y combínalas.

+
+Practica siempre frente a otra persona, o si no tienes a alguien para practicar como audiencia, intenta grabarte durante unos minutos y luego mira la grabación para ver dónde puedes mejorar.
