"Hyperboxes may soon be removed, please move to Compact Machines" I guess I'm never updating then What's even the benefit of doing that? So disruptive to existing worlds |

mostly because they leak memory and cause worlds to lag to death. The mod author would rather fix it in the future or not at all. We're leaving both for now for our users' benefit, but we may remove hyperboxes if it turns out that the dev actually doesn't want to fix it. Again, you can continue using the ones you have for now, maybe even forever, but we want to give people who don't like java eating all their ram a chance to have a similar setup in Compact Machines. |
