Welcome to the BiodEx wiki!

Here we will introduce BiodEx and show users how it can be used. The manual and tutorial will show how to load and how to perform basic microbial community analysis using BiodEx. The first topics are:

• Load your data
• Perform ordination (e.g. NMDS)
• Specialist detection

BiodEx is written in R and uses Shiny. Shiny offers simple responsive elements to be included into R. We recommend a basic understand of the Shiny concepts. We will show how developers can extend BiodEx as we think that BiodEx will be more successful when more people are working on it. We will show how to create a new analysis including an UI tab and the server code. The first topics are:
