execute_request is a thing now, "don't repeat yourself" and all that. now there's an icon for the video creator (see get_user_info).
this is *supposed* to be the user who added the video, but it only returns the playlist creator. issue filed: https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/188935048 (if this turns out not to be a bug, i'm gonna look like a huge idiot, huh?)
