Packagist.org v1 metadata deprecated | Aug 1st 2025 deadline

You are using v1 metadata here https://github.com/yiisoft-contrib/yiiframework.com/blob/master/models/Extension.php#L236 which is now deprecated, and readonly (i.e. no more updates/new versions/new packages) since Feb 1st.

We recommend using the v2 metadata instead as that is complete.

Not sure what you're doing nor what you need the data for, but if you can explain I'm happy to help figure out what the best path forward is.

Then if you only need this very rarely (if it's a one-off when someone submits an extension) I'd say it's probably easier to fetch from the API URL i.e. https://packagist.org/packages/monolog/monolog.json and not the /p/ one. That is gonna be more up to date and doesn't require the composer/metadata-minifier dependency.
