Your project seems interesting but in python it will never reach sufficient(1gbit and above) performance levels for me.
Are there plans to move it to rust or golang or c++?

Thanks for your interest. We indeed are interested to port the project to C++ or golang, which should be able to considerably improve the performance. But currently we do not have manpower to do it right away.
