Bug report

Describe the bug

Here is a clear and concise description of what the problem is:

When switching Android profiles on my smartphone, if I do not first end the Kore activity, Kore issues a stop playback command to my media playback device.

Expected Behavior

Here is a clear and concise description of what was expected to happen:

When switching Android profiles on my smartphone, without first closing the Kore activity in the application switcher, I expect my TV Kodi device to continue playing the media it has been playing.

Actual Behavior

Either Kore detects a profile change, or Android is issuing a stop playback command to Kore, or something, but Kore issues a stop playback command to the TV Kodi device.

Possible Fix

Stop doing that for Android profile switching (or at least create a settings option).

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Create a second Android profile on your Kore 'enabled' smartphone,
  2. Play something hosted on the internet or on the Kodi device directly, using Kore on your Android's primary profile (NOT something which is hosted on and served/cast from the smartphone to Kodi),
  3. Switch to the second Android profile on your smartphone while the media is playing.
