Is it possible to get the PDF's bytes?

I need to show the PDF normally, but also need its raw bytes for further processing. Can I somehow get them out of this library? Or alternatively, can I download the bytes first and initialize this library with them (and if yes is it efficient)? Or what else can I do (ideally not having to download twice)?
