Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
related to #1251 Rather then turning the magic key off, I would like to use // instead.

Why do you need this feature?
I appreciate getting the command palette via the magic key but it is unusable for me because it keeps popping up while writing ordinary text including /

You can press esc to exit the popup; if you type \ very often, maybe better just disable it.

I use / all the time and pressing escape interrupts my writing every time, so I had to turn it off. But it’s a pitty because I would like to use the feature, hence my suggestion to change the trigger to // instead of /.
