As an operator, I want to have multiple retains combined with different backup schemes/sources.

This is currently not a functionality in rsnapshot and one has to build:

multiple timers
multiple log files
multiple configurations
multiple lock files
ensure, that the pathes are not conflicting

To provide this functionality, we want to:

reach out to the devs
have a look how it is possible to prevent the "documented way" and another way which provides the "multi backup to different times" feature.
