Question: translation for typoscript and xlf-files

If you want to add a new language to your TYPO3-website, you have different places which needs translation.

I find no informations in your documentation about the translation of

• typoScript-definitions (_LOCAL_LANG, see https://stackoverflow.com/questions/51611504/add-translation-to-typo3-extension-via-typoscript) => detection?
• XLIFF (xlf-Files) => automatic translation? https://support.deepl.com/hc/de/articles/7507376697500-XLIFF-Dateien-%C3%BCbersetzen#h_01GQSQH0HFD9E5T77RZDHERMFV
• xml-files (old translation-style transformable with https://extensions.typo3.org/extension/ew_llxml2xliff, detection-problem)

Will help your extension in this cases?
Can your extension detect this cases?

Does your extension respect the exclusion via l10_mode (TCA) (I don't find information about this in your manual; I havn't tested it.)

Hello and thank you for your question.
The main scope of this extension is translation of pages, content elements and records, based on TCA definitions. Currently, there are no plans to support translating files or TypoScript _LOCAL_LANG overrides.

The exxclusion via l10n_mode is respected, as we currently only translate input and text fields, having 'l10nmode' = 'prefixLangTitle' set. So if your l10n_mode is set to exclude, no translation is made at all by our DeepL translator
