Best way to set a referring URL?

Hi, I'm curious about the best way to set the referring URL after a successful third party login, at the moment I'm setting a session variable but I feel like there's a better way.

Hey, I tried same, so I add session variable before I call /auth/* but on /auth/complete I'm not able to read that variable, actually there is no var in session. Any help/tips?
