Hi.

I'm trying to install pyProphet on a RHEL-5 system.
I have numpy already installed.
When I call easy_install pyprophet or pip install pyprophet I get the same error:
ImportError: No module named 'version'

In case it helps I'm using python 2.4.3 and easy_install-3.4 (part of setuptools 2.1).

Any suggestions?

Thanks,
Damian

Hi,

maybe I broke something a few weeks ago. I have no internet connection for working on this
until next week and will take care then.

Regards,
Uwe

I updated pyprophet. Please try again to install pyprophet.
Uwe

Thanks Uwe.
I take it you got your internet back. Were you suffering from
withdrawal? I know I would be :)

I'm almost there but now I can't install pyProphet because it depends
upon freetype-2.3 or later. The server I'm assigned to only has
freetype-2.2 (RHEL 5.0).

Do you know of a workaround?

Thanks,
Damian

Hi,
try to install matplotlib. Hope this helps.
No, I had no real withdrawal, it was a very relaxed
vacation :)
Best, Uwe
