Hello everyone,
I followed the instructions for the "Localhost and VM installation".
The Docker containers are running on a Ubuntu 20 VM.
I can see the services remotely and on the localhost in the browser. Everything is fine.

I then built the zotero clients. I can start them on both Windows and Linux with out Problem.
I created another user in mariaDB via the script in the bin folder.
Also I created a few test files with the admin user and also attached PDFs.

Then I open the Zotero instances on other client computers and connect with the admin account-
I see the entries in My Library but the PDFs are not transferred.
The Error Message is:

The attached file could not be found in the following path:

C:\Users\user\Zotero\storage\48CW26QL\file.pdf

It may have been moved or deleted outside of Zotero, or if it was added on another computer, it may not have been synchronised to zotero.org yet.

Buckets are created on MinIO and there is a 48CW26QL. But when i download it is the file with the number as the name but no file extension.

Then I use the new user account on the client computers instead of the admin account, the entries in the shared library are also displayed here. But the PDF files are again not transferred....

I have noticed that when I click on the PDFs, the properties window on the computer where the PDFs are available says "Indexed: Yes"
On the computer where the PDFs are not synchronised it says "Indexed: Queue"

What could be the reason for this?
Do I still have to set up an access key on the MinIO? If so, how do I do that?
I feel like i am missing something very obvious....

The issue:

S3 returned 0 (1/89YTPFSJ) -- retrying upload

Has been fixed in v2.8.3
Please also use new steps from the README https://github.com/uniuuu/zotprime/tree/production?tab=readme-ov-file#dependencies-and-source-code

You may try latest subrelease https://github.com/uniuuu/zotprime/tree/production , note the installation steps in readme have been changed.

What values you set for HOST_DS and HOST_ST when when built client?

Please try to start Zotero client as zotero --jsconsole to get more logs.

I already used the production subreleas.

for the build i used the VM IP Address

HOST_DS=http://196.168.95.12:8080/
HOST_ST=ws://196.168.95.12:8081/

(this is not my ip just random numbers, but to give you a picture)
Question is, if i use the VM Hoste name in the DNS would that work better?
I would say it shouldn't make a difference.

when I open zotero with the Error Consol on the Server I see this error:

when i open the IP:Port in the browser i see a "Nothing to see here."
Is that normal?

when i open the zotero with jsconsole on the client i see 2 Errors Messages.

The first is similar to the one on the server:

This one is different:

[JavaScript Error: "HTTP GET http://196.168.95.12:8080/users/2/settings failed with status code 500:

All the Errors are listet under Messages not under Errors in the Error Console.
What did i do wrong?

Next error indicates some issue:

[JavaScript Error: "HTTP GET http://196.168.95.12:8080/users/2/settings failed with status code 500:

An error occurred"]

Are you able to run docker compose logs -f on server and when you have the 500 error above to check which errors the server outputs ?

So I have run docker compose logs -f on the server and started the instanzes of zotero.

the normal message appearing looks like this:

Maybe i overlook something but the message:
Shard not found for library 6 in /var/www/zotero/include/Shards.inc.php:128
that appears when i start the clients on linux and windows machines looks suspicious to me.
Is that what you expected?

I did use the ./bin/init.sh
Otherwise i could have not see the Databases in the phpMyAdmin Interface. And the Buckets on the MinIO Server would not be there.

I removed the ~/Zotero and ~/.zotero folders.
I deleted the zotprime folder.
I run apt update and clone the repository to my path.
I copy the .env_example to .env
I open the .env and change the DSHOST=http://\<Server IP Address\>:8080/ to DSHOST=http://192.168.35.50:8080/
I do docker compose up -d && docker compose logs -f

after seconds the message

than i did ./bin/init.sh

i rebuild the client
with

DOCKER_BUILDKIT=1 docker build --progress=plain --file client.Dockerfile \
      --build-arg HOST_DS=http://192.168.35.50:8080/ \
      --build-arg HOST_ST=ws://192.168.35.50:8081/ \
      --build-arg MLW=l --output build .

and when i start it up on the Server VM, the first time, it opens additionaly a browser to <Server IP>:8080/start
with the Message:

Not Found. 
The page you requested could not be found.

And in the jsconsole is the error:

in the terminal where i run zotero-client appears the message:

./zotero --jsconsole

i close the browser. go to settings>sync and login with admin admin
the Shared folder in the Group Libraries appears.

i go to my Ubuntu 22 PC that runs in the same network,
unpack the client,
run ./zotero --jsconsole

starting up the first time also the browser appears, like on the server.
but no connected error in the jsconsole,

i connect on my client with another user, that i created with the ./bin/create_user.sh in the /zotprime.
I check that the user appears in the Database.
after connecting the Shared folder appears.

i open a new entry. put in the informations and attache the pdf.

the jsconsole shows:

again the error:

it shows an attached file. but the path ~/Zotero/storage is empty so the pdf was not transfered yet.
I go to the MinIO Server and see no entry in the bucket.
There are two.

both empty.

the jsconsole again shows:
