Deleted content reappears when editing a story map

After deleting a slide or step while editing a story map, it’s possible for content to reappear when a new one is created in the same place.

For example, in a given step, if I delete the last slide (e.g., slide n°3) and then create a new one, text from the deleted slide might reappear in the new one.

The issue might be related to the diff/save mechanism.
I’ll try to provide a minimal reproducible example as soon as possible.
