If using new minons, there should be extra train.

The expansion comes with ten extra 2-train cards. These might be needed when playing the ‘challenging variant’ of module 2 (‘new minor companies’). This variant has 16 minor companies in play, instead of the normal 13. The
expansion rules aren't prescriptive, it says that “you may need the additional 2-train cards” when playing this variant.
