The Server went down!
There is a group (including me) that want to bring this back to use for our own purposes!(an discord server)
we are working on fixing up this code

I changed hosting providers and lost the ability to host non-static content. I don't have any concrete plan to continue work on this project soon, but I'd like to return to it someday.

You can host your own server if you want. This project is all open source. You may be surprised to find that most of the roadmap is not implemented yet. Feel free to fork and submit pull requests.

@jah0wl I only made a few readme changes (see #4 and https://github.com/clach04/board-gamer-2d) - Whilst I'm really excited by this project other projects are ahead of this for me and so I've not really made any progress or added any games and this isn't a priority for me at the moment (my initial project was to get a Code Names online going but I found an existing implementation and used that).

Your ping reminded me to quickly doc the Node versions I tested with and the obvious change needed to allow the server to accept from other devices. I'll make those shortly and push to my branch (and the PR above)

At some point, I hope to get back to this but not sure when.

It looks like a basic (custom) card game could be set up fairly quickly but some extra functionality is need for easier deck management (e.g grabbing the whole deck UX is not super smooth, need to drag-select (or group) cards before flipping over the entire deck).

Looking at https://github.com/thejoshwolfe/board-gamer-2d/network looks like https://github.com/swilbur/board-gamer-2d (master branch) has been active recently with some interesting changes. Probably worth pinging @swilbur
