Unusually Slow Tab Closing

Description of the bug
I have used Vimium on Chrome. It looks like closing a tab ( press 'x' ) is unusually slow compared to Vimium. When I press 'X'. It takes about 2/3 seconds to close current tab. Any workaround I can make it faster?

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Press 'x' on current tab.

Expected behavior
Should close currently open tab nearly instantly like in Vimium.

Desktop:

• macOS version: 10.15.7
• Safari version: 15.6.1
• Vimari version: 2.1.1

Do you by any chance have any other extensions installed which might influence how long it takes to close a tab?
