Would be useful to have an option to switch timestamp from unix type to human-readable date-time format when logging in the server. I guess some work was planned on it before as I saw formatTimestamp option stub.

Thanks for the suggestion. The feature was conceived but not implemented. But it is now! Please check branch 'issue_4' ( https://github.com/tbknl/meteor-trail/tree/issue_4 ) and provide your feedback. See the 'Configuration' section of the documentation for how to enable timestamp formatting.
