Additional Previous button is showing

Hi there,

I've have integrated this script into wordpress it was working great but the only thing I've noticed is that it will show another previous button if the next page has only two(2) article post in it.

As you can see in my screenshot I only have 2 posts and it will show additional previous button. But when I add another posts on that page it will hide the extra previous button. Its like when the page has an odd number of posts it will hide the addtional previous button but when its even number of posts it will show.

Please help
