Thanks for the info. I’ll try to make this short. Even tho I’ve followed the instructions, I still can’t get the web interface to connect. “site can’t be reached” “refused to connect”…. the firmware on the Pentair appears to be Easytouch 4, UIC/UOC: 2.160. But I also need MQTT to run and have read it won’t work with the newest version of the software, so this issue is a moot point. I had this running on the 32 bit version of Raspberry PI OS, including sending MQTT messages to my HA system. But somewhere along the line, the MQTT part stopped working. Given MQTT won’t work on the newest version of the software, I’m going to abandon the new software and continue to use the software I have running on the 32bit version. It appears to me that the older version of the pool control software either isn’t connecting to the MQTT Broker, or is not sending data to the Broker. (I’m running a genmon software on the PI that does connect with the Broker, so can only assume the Broker is setup correctly. I believe the issue is that while the genmon software allows for a username and password to connect to the Broker, the pool software does not. I’m not asking for, nor expecting you to trouble shoot old software, but if you have any suggestions of things I may try to resurrect the MQTT issue, I’m all ears. In the end the most important thing for me is the web page for the pool software and I have that 100% working, so I am good! Thanks for your help, and for putting this software together. |

So I was finally able to get things working like I’d like. I managed to troubleshoot the pool software reporting to the Mosquitto MQTT Broker, and get that info into my HA system. I’m hoping the MQTT stuff will be updated to work with the latest software, but for now, I’m an ecstatic camper! |

Using Indigo.
MQTT is a huge mountain for me to climb. What I really want is to get the water temp into the HA software, and now, I’ve got that working again.

I’m working thru getting this to work and have a few basic questions.
1st will will run in the 64bit PI OS?
2nd. I had this working in a 32 bit system and recall the port for the web interface was 5150, but just read somewhere that its 4200. Can you please let me know what port is correct?
