I have an RPi 4 with the normal deployment (pm2 w/ njsPC, REM, nixie, plus node-red). I have 2 x 8-relay sequent boards and the MEGABAS.
My pool is basic, no spa, one VS pump using relays to set speeds as it's a Neptune and doesn't play nice with RS485, sand filter, a few valves and a heat pump w/ fireman switch. I have a temp sensor and a filter pressure sensor configured.
I'm having issues with schedules for the most part, when I activate features manually they work no problem but the schedules are hit or miss whether they actually turn on or not. I've removed them and rebuilt them several times already trying to simplify things but still having inconsistent results. Sometimes one schedule will turn on but not another that are set for the same time, and sometimes they just won't work at all. Often after midnight all the schedules stop working.
I think I've followed all the guides and all the forum posts I can with regards to setting this thing up properly, but I must be missing something:
The pool aux-circuit is set to use REM with the relay that starts the pump at the lowest RPM setting, however in this case it's 1380 RPM so I don't want this running all day long.
I have created aux-circuits for all 4 of the pump speeds that I have wired to the relays in REM
I have an aux-circuit for the heat pump fireman switch. I did this because when I try to use the schedule for the 'Pool' aux circuit and tell it to turn the heat off or use the heat pump, it does not actually work. It will leave the heat on all the time. I have 'time of use' electrical rates so there are times when I want the pool filtering but not the heater on.
For the VS Pump, I have added circuits for the 'Pool' aux-circuit, plus the 4 speed setting aux-circuits
I have setup the heat pump in the heater section, with the fireman switch tied to it. Not sure if this is actually doing anything.
And finally, I have setup schedules for different times of the day. Generally I've setup the 'Pool' aux circuit to run whenever I want the pool doing anything at all, and then added other circuits to run to set the speed or valve functions based on what I'm trying to do during that time window.
I set the 'Pool' circuit to use the heat pump or not with the schedule, but this doesn't seem to work so I've had to add it to the circuit groups with the pump speed using the aux-circuit for the heat pump fireman switch. I'm not sure if this is correct. I've also tried a ton of different time settings to see if the clock was conflicting if there was any overlap in schedules, so all my schedules end at :59 so they don't go into the next day. But, it still seems to fail at midnight and at the moment no schedules are starting at all - even when I reboot. I have to turn the 'Pool' on manually by clicking the green circle beside it, which does start the low speed circuit. Heat works too if I select it on the dashboard but that's about all that works now, none of it works via schedules.
Anyways, sorry for the information overload. Any ideas what is going on? Maybe there's multiple things at play here. I'll attach my replay log for when a schedule should be starting.
