I've found that plugins/scripts I write often return different results when run from within SwiftBar and from the terminal (even if triggered from SwiftBar). Some troubleshoot indicates that while the plugin is executed by the user, it does not load user profile files, like .zshrc, etc, like in a terminal session. For me, this means the plugins then doesn't have access to environmental variables (AWS_*) or expected PATH entries.
Is there a recommendation on how to work around this? I could source those files in every plugin but want to know if there's a global solution.
Should this also be made a feature request or is there some OS limitation?
