[BUG] The dropdowns next to the search tab not working

Description

There are dropdowns next to the search button in the housing, food and the for-sale section. When a particular category is selected within the dropdowns, the results do not change. I would like to work on this. It would be great if you could assign this with labels gssoc-ext, hacktoberfest-accepted and levels
