Is your feature request related to a problem?

An option to open a file system directory within the query editor could be a powerful addition for productivity and less reason to leave Surrealist while developing database schemas. This feature could be an awesome addition for taking Surrealist to the next level for developer experience. A notable prerequisite would be my other issue: #583, detailing a folder style system within the query designer.

Describe the solution

Surrealist could benefit from a button that lets users select a folder on their system and open it as a folder within Surrealist. This feature would ideally parse any .surql files and folders within the selected directory and open them within Surrealist. Additionally, it would be great to have the ability to create and delete folders and .surql files. However, this feature needs further refinement as folders may contain files that aren’t visible in Surrealist.
