Hello everyone!
I have find it difficult to correctly define the boundary conditions (BC) and, consequently, the markers in a nose conse + fuselage of a rocket in subsonic conditions, in SU2 software. I was thinking of only modelating these two components as shown in the 2 images (domain and mesh)! I was using in the upstream (left side - half circle) the MARKER_FAR and I discover another marker for the downstream (right side - 4 vertical lines) that is called MARKER_NEARFIELD. I didn't find any information rearding this marker, can you explain which inputs requires and in what conditions should I use it? Moreover, do you have any other tip or a completing new idea on how I should do this analysis and generate this mesh?
I generated the shape and mesh in Gmsh software and I am a bit stuck since I don't want to modelated the back part (for example, the nozzle) of the rocket since is not in the framework of my thesis.
Thank you!
