Describe the bug
Affiliates are not being credited for recurring orders when Credit for Recurring Orders is set to Yes in the plugin settings.
Reported in ticket 610990

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

  1. Select Yes in the Credit for Recurring Orders field on the Memberships > Affiliates > Settings page.
  2. On another account, use an affiliate link then check out for a recurring membership level.
  3. Observe that the affiliate is credited for the initial checkout but not for any recurring orders.

Expected behavior
The affiliate is credited for both initial payment and recurring orders.

Isolating the problem (mark completed items with an [x]):

  • I have deactivated other plugins and confirmed this bug occurs when only Paid Memberships Pro plugin is active.
  • This bug happens with a default WordPress theme active, or Memberlite.
  • I can reproduce this bug consistently using the steps above.

WordPress Environment
