When SteamVR is closed, OculusDash.exe gets run which now opens SteamVR, causing the user to get stuck in an infinite loop. The only way to exit out of Link or AirLink is to kill OVRServer_x64.exe in Task Manager, then close SteamVR from the desktop.
Perhaps the application could track how many times it's been opened, and upon every ODD execution instead of launching SteamVR it kills OVRServer_x64.exe. Since pressing the Oculus button also triggers OculusDash.exe, pressing the Oculus button would now perform a quick exit! While I'd find that very convenient, probably best to have that be an option of some sort as I'm sure somebody will eventually complain about hitting the button and closing their session prematurely.
Alternatively, the application could also just continue to run in the background after launching SteamVR, and when SteamVR is closed it kills OVRServer_x64.exe.
