The following issues will need to occur in order for launch to occur:

  • All priority v3 milestone issues should be complete
  • Update the Plausible analytics tracking code for the docs from next.skeleton.dev to skeleton.dev
  • Setup a domain redirect from next.skeleton.dev to skeleton.dev in Vercel
  • Make a v2 archive branch and setup v2.skeleton.dev domain for v2 doc archive URL
  • Determine plans for the Create-Skeleton-App, tw-plugin, and similar packages for maintenance mode.
    (Update README assets for Skeleton v3 #2671 (comment))
  • Overhaul CI/CD pipelines to adhere to new release strategy
  • Consider using Github "branch protection rules" to enforce squashing of commits.
  • Consider using linkinator or something similar to detect dead links before pushing to prod.

Help Wanted

  • Ensure README and documentation links are accurate ([reference]
  • Deploy the v3 Migration CLI app to NPM
  • Port over Carbon ads to the navigation sidebar
  • Update GitHub PR and Issue templates (the broken links)
