get this error, too (using Metamask (10.18.1) with Firefox):

steps to reproduce:

go to Metamask:
select Kovan Test Network: there is the button "Not Connected" and next to it my ETH address
copy the address
paste it to page "https://faucet.singularitynet.io/index.html...."
select Kovan on the webpage
press submit

-> get reply "Something went wrong! Reason: Internal error"
