"Tweets already imported, skipping", but no tweets in database

I ran wp-import 1, with the result Success: Import Complete - 326 tweets processed, 326skipped, but when I went to check the dashboard, there were no tweets visible:

I double-checked and yes, I imported under the correct user (there is only one user on my WP installation).

I tried running the commands to start over, but couldn't them to work in my docker container which only has a root user. The import command work with an --allow-root flag though.

Nope. Just a normal installation.
