Having issues with liquidsoap in new version

Having issues with the below script working on Liquidsoap 1.41

Guess a few functions have changed

anyone able to help rewrite it to work for 1.4.1

I can run your script without any problem with latest Liq. Can you be more specific about the errors you get?

Hey Samuel,

I'm getting the following error

sudo -u liquidsoap ./stream.liq 
At line 31, char 10-33:
Error 4: Undefined variable server.insert_metadata
myqueue = request.queue()
myqueue = server.insert_metadata(id="S4",myqueue)

I'm guessing some functions got changed in the newer version?

Unfortanetly not. The function server.insert_metadata is not builtin but defined in the standard library, which suggests that there is a problem with your installation, making liquidsoap unable to load it.

Mmm.. It was installed with apt in Ubuntu 20.04.3 LTS

I was upgrade from Ubuntu 18.04 LTS

I tried to install from source but too hard..

I got it working on the liquidsoap 2.0 :)
