Description

Archive nodes are due for some attention:

  • They produce the majority of error logs (83.6%)
  • They also produce the majority of regular logs (97.9%)
  • Their database is the most expensive in terms of monthly costs ($498.24)
  • Some SQL queries are CPU bound and prone to lock contention
  • We don't have any strong evidence that they're actually successfully archiving the network
  • They go down unexpectedly
