I love your drawer design but lately drawers are not used much in UIs. If we can use this as an expanding menu, it would look cool. Lets say We have an app bar and when we press a button inside the app bar, it grows while folding from top to bottom. Revealing a menu. In this case you might need to change the name from foldable_sidebar to foldable_menu maybe?
