[GraphQL API] User is not returned on create mutation

The documentation indicates that you should be able to get the created user returned to you when performing a user create mutation:

However I can only get null returned for user. Here is an example query:

I'd expect this to be able to return the created user in order to get the user's id. As is, I'm stuck making another query to search fo the user I just created.
