In fact, it should redirect here. At first, it could redirect correctly, but after a while, it turned into an object.

Are you trying to work with https://github.com/GeoffreyMetais/vlc-android/ ? Does the project even build from command line ?

Yes, the VLC file and the called file are in the same directory. I don't know why it points to the object. Do I need other configurations?

The issue I noticed is that the project hasn't been updated in 5 years. When I try to build it from commandline it seems I run into various errors. If it doesn't build from CLI it's pretty unlikely it'd build when vscode-java is opened on it.

When I do import it, I get the following error in VS Code :
