Just noticed that there is still a package of rdiff-backup-fs in Debian so the code seems buildable with few patches, and documented dependencies. @anotherMuppet on which Linux did you try to build the code? |

As the subject says, there are no build instructions and I don't know if the code can be built on a modern Linux host.
