Request to add Rem as a measurement

The original Sketch Measure had an option for Rem that you could then set the measurement of (ex. 16px).

Unsure if I'm missing something, I can't seem to find rem. Here is what the settings drop down looks like. There's only 3 unit options here:

I found a closed issue from November 2020 that stated the rem was in the top drop down of the screenshot below. I can see now that it is no longer an option. Any chance of this coming back?

This panel is for setting the design resolution, I think no one will design in rem unit.
If you want rem display, open exported, go to convert unit on the top right, choose rem

Thank you for the continued responses and help! I cannot find 'exported', I found 'spec export' but within here there's no option for convert unit or rem.

The screenshots I've shown before are of the settings panel, the second drop down here 'device unit' does change the unit of measurement, if I switch from px to pt, measurements are now in pt. This is also how it worked in the original Sketch Measure plugin. Except that plugin also had a rem option within this dropdown and then you can select how many px in 1 rem.

Please let me know if I'm missing something, I would love to get this figured out for my team.

However, is their anyway to add these measurements in my sketch file? When I am marking specific spots?

No, you have to change the mark text manually.
