Search engine doesn't accept asian language characters

Hello,
I'm using version 4.4.0.beta2.
Everything is working fine for me except for when using the search engine if I put in Japanese/Chinese/Korean characters it will show me no result.
But if I search it using alphabet characters sometimes the result will include asian language characters.
So, I'm not sure if this is a bug or just a feature that can be add.
