I just got the notification from Andrew that he released meamfit as opensource https://gitlab.com/AndyDuff123/meamfit So we could create a conda package and then integrate it as alternative fitting code.

I realize that there's the problem, that meamfit expects to read vasprun.xml files only. I guess we could hack it and write fake xml files that contain only what meamfit reads, but I have no urgent need for it.
