X12: ROV Triton

2019-2021, Captain Grant Geyer ROV Triton remains under development, since the competition for which it was design was delayed a full year due to COVID. Thanks to that additional time for iterative improvement and the design's high performance ceiling, Triton has the potential to be our best ROV since PotaTOS.

X11: ROV Remora

ROV Remora was a vehicle stiffled by ambition. Simultaneous changes to CAN, ROS, and pneumatics resulted in a plethora of integration issues that reduced available testing time. The ambitious Delta Power Tube was overly complex and demanded onerously tight electrical-mechanical integration for little benefit. Ultimately, X11 was operable for about 30 seconds during competition due to electrical issues and flooding of the Logic Tube.
