Try version 2049 |
Hello! Coming back here to let you know that the version you recommended didn't work either, this time the screen I was shown, with the debug color configuration, was the lilac screen. |
Check this too |
I'm going to test this version too, but now I think the problem isn't in the OPL, but in the fragmentation of the games. I believe that in these new updates, the debug colors being the way they are, were modified to show fragmentation error in the games. I analyzed my games with a program and some are defragmented. I'll test them as soon as the program finishes correcting the error. |
Hello @HENRIQUE61-rgb Did you solve it? |
I solved it! Sorry for the delay, but I ended up finding out that it has nothing to do with OPL, but with fragmented data. I'm going to switch to the latest OPL, as the risks of fragmentation are lower. |
So this issue can be closed? |

Describe the issue
Hello, I have a problem. I had the tenth anniversary OPL, where its limitation was that only PenDrives in FAT32 format were functional, until I switched to the OPL version released on January 3rd. Searching for tutorials on how to update to the new version, I managed to get the latest version (released on January 3rd) to apply, running the OPL test directly on the PenDrive and it was working perfectly. When I tried to open the game for the fourth time, with the PenDrive already formatted in EXFAT, so that I no longer had to break it into parts for the game to work, my monitor screen went completely dark!
I ran some tests on the settings of this version and discovered that by activating "Mode 1" and "Mode 2" in the BLACK game settings, the game started to work normally. I managed to play for a few minutes to test and see if there were any errors for a few minutes and then I turned off my video game so I could put more games, but when I opened the OPL and started the game, I again had the same problem: Black Screen! My friend even said that the problem was in the game's ISO, but when I entered Ulauch Elf and started that same OPL there, still inside the PenDrive, the game returned to normal and without the "Mode 1" and "Mode 2" options being activated and that was when I replaced the already updated OPL with the same OPL already applied to the memory card.
I gave up trying to adjust the OPL through its own settings, but without success. I thought about it during the day and decided to activate the color debugger to be able to see what color appeared when starting the game and the screen I got was the pink screen. I searched on YouTube but there were no solutions, only resolved issues from old OPLs. Below I will list the attempts I made, because otherwise, my report will be very long...
Attempts that didn't work: Format the PenDrive in FAT32 and test the games, Format the PenDrive in EXFAT and test the games, restore updates prior to version 1.2.0 - 2194 and 2199, test OPL versions from the tutorials that promised to solve the problem, change the ISO and test the PenDrive in EXFAT and FAT32, test the same games on an external HD with both formats, boot OPL from the PenDrive, whose most updated version was already applied in mc0 and change the IGR path to start BOOT.ELF from the PenDrive, in the MASS folder, test these most updated versions on another memory card and get the same results of black screen (without debug colors) and pink screen (when activating debug colors).
