It seems like certain maps have decreased or unchanged star rating with increased clock rates. Check the attached video and note the star rating from 1.09x -> 1.10x and 1.19x -> 1.20x - it decreases!
My gut instinct is that this is related to the 400ms strain section chunking, although I haven't tested that yet. I tried applying clockRate to OsuDifficultyHitObject's computeSliderCursorPosition time variables but this didn't fix the issue. This is a scenario where osu-tools accepting mod settings would make life much more easier by the way lol
