The GitHub releases of Mondrian could be made more accessible by uploading the built binaries. It could even be automated with a CI system. Has this been considered?

In my opinion, a better thing would be to publish releases to Maven central.

I would not publish nightly builds to Maven central, or to github. These would continue to go to Pentaho's nexus.

Why not both? If someone wants to download, say, the latest version of Schema Workbench then being able to do so directly from the repository would be great of useability.

Aren't community releases published on the web anymore? It would be nice.
