Search widget does not recognise all modern names

In a lot of cases it seemed just to bring up the map result, and it didn’t seem to do that as well as Google Maps. For example, it didn’t recognise Nimes in France, but it did recognise its Roman name - Colonia Nemausus. Google Maps recognised both
