Start exploring a basic javaFx based reference implementation:

• revisit an old prototype I worked on a number of years ago, update it and learn what new in the javaFx api.
• revisit fxgraphics2d as well as the JavaFX canvas api
  • initial test years ago might not be valid anymore, limitation being performance for so many draw operation.
• update ticket when I have more insight.
