Labels? What are these things?
Labels are a way for repository maintainers to tag and triage issues, as well as discussions. For a general user, they are a useful way to filter down to what is appropriate for your search query.
For example, if you were to report a bug, you'd want to check prior and current bug reports to see if yours is already mentioned.
Every repository will have labels by default.
Default Labels
The default labels set up for all of the repositories consists of the following:
Some repositories may have different ones, or more than these, or less than these. The labels contain descriptions, which tells you what the label is intended for. As a TTRPG repository, we've added some flavor text to our labels, but kept the GitHub default
[name]

That it does. We recommend that you set up Issue Templates to auto-categorize issues based on template selected, or utilize the services of Dependabot/Github Actions to categorize topics for you. How to set up all of these is found in another thread in this area.
