Financial Address Mapper - Resolve API - Questions

Hello everyone.

I have a few questions regarding the resolve API of the G2P-Connect's Financial Address Mapper (here), and API Spec available here.

• Is this resolve API
  1. supposed to return the ID(s) for the given Financial Address?
  2. Or is it supposed to resolve the ID and return the Financial Address against the given ID?
• If it is the first case, is there an equivalent API that can return the Financial Address against the given ID?
• If it is the second case, isn't the ID supposed to be the required value and the financial address is only optional (in case of yes_no response)? But here it describes that fa is mandatory value in ResolveRequest.
• Or is the same API supposed to handle both situations?

@lalithkota It is the last option. The same API is support to resolve the other identifier. i. e Given an id resolves fa and vice versa. If you see spec should be fixed to address any edge case scenarios, please do call out.

Thanks @vvujjini. In that case I would like to propose to remove the fa as required field from the ResolveRequest Schema. Because if id is given and would like to retrieve fa, then fa need not be asked.

@lalithkota As you implement and test, please do call out all possible reason codes and help us refresh the ResolveStatusReasonCode.yaml and other related status code entities.
